Le Grange Gites

Willow Gite - 1st August to 15th August 2020

Lesley and Simon could not have been better hosts our grandchildren have had an amazing time in the grounds which are safe and very child friendly

There is plenty to do in the area for children and adults. The time has flown by and we wish we could stay longer

The fresh vegetables were very tasty, especially the variety of cherry tomatoes and strawberries

Daisy the rabbit and the chickens were a focus for the children who wanted to feed them whenever possible

It has been a strange year and these Gites have been a haven for our family

We are indebted to Lesley and Simons help and advice they could not have been kinder

We would love to return

Ivy Gite - 1st August to 15th August 2020

We have had the most wonderful, relaxing few weeks at Le Grange Gites!

Ivy Gite was perfect for our family to relax in after hot days out and about or by the pool. With two young children the layout was fantastic for them, many an evening was enjoyed with them playing in the gardens, they also loved feeding the rabbit and chickens!!

Fantastic days out had at the dinosaur park (parc Prehistoir) and we would definitely recommend going to Parc De Loisirs if you have young children. So good we went twice - we'd recommend taking a picnic to enjoy in the shade.

Another fab day out was to Branfére which they loved seeing all the animals and again another picnic opportunity.

We went to the beach at Damgan, very kid friendly for digging, shallow waters and rock pooling. Check the tides before you go as low tide is very low

When asked what has favourite thing had been this holiday, toby, our 4 year old said “playing in the pool. When I grow up I want a job cleaning a swimming pool” ha ha he really enjoyed watching Lesley and Simon putting the pool to bed and waking it up in the morning

Cider House Gite - 1st August to 15th August 2020

Dear Simon and Lesley

We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks, the weather was glorious , the Gite is lovely, family friendly, well equipped and the pool excellent.

Even with Covid restrictions, Lesley and Simon had thought of everything so we could just relax and enjoy our holiday.

We had a lovely day out in Josselin and a couple of trips to the coast but really the weather was just so good we relaxed at the Gites by the pool.

Thank you both once again for your hospitality and we wish you well in the future.

Cider House Gite - 25th July to 1st August 2020

We have just returned from a weeks stay in the Cider House at Le Grange Gites and to be honest we wish we were still there!

The rural setting is stunning as is the local village, there are a few shops, bars and supermarkets about 20 minute walk away (with two children!) and under 5 minutes in the car.

Lesley and Simon are fully equipped and prepared to deal with the new guidelines as per the covid-19 pandemic and we felt perfectly safe during our stay.

The pool is amazing; immaculately clean and looked after daily - our two boys loved the pool best of all! The gite was a great size, plenty of room and fully equipped with everything you need; it really is home from home.

There's swings and a slide, climbing frame and a badminton net plus lots of garden activities for all such as skittles and boules and even a football goal!

The people we met also staying at different Gites as part of Le Grange were wonderful and it was great to share places of interest to visit.

Lesley and Simon are a wealth of knowledge and give great advice and are all round lovely people.

Thanks so much for a perfect family holiday we hope to visit again soon.

Ivy Gite 18th July to 1st August 2020

We have stayed at Le Grange Gites 5 times.

We keep returning because the Gites are homely, clean and well stocked with everything you need.

They are located in a quiet rural part of Morbihan but are easy access to the village and many visitor attractions. It is only 50 minutes to the nearest beach and 30 minutes to Vannes.

What makes it extra special is the hosts Lesley and Simon, they are so welcoming and helpful.

You can also buy lovely honey from their garden, home made jams and lovely home grown fruit and vegetables.

The pool is an amazing bonus and is well maintained and always so clean.
