Ivy Gite - 6th to 13th September 2019
Hi Simon and Lesley
We have just returned from our holiday in Ivy Gite. We were a party of 4 adults and had a lovely relaxing holiday.
The Gite was equipped with everything you could need for your holiday.
The swimming pool was lovely to have a relaxing swim after a busy day of sightseeing.
Take time to read through the out and about pages on Simon and Lesley’s website or the information booklet in the Gite. There is a lot of great information about the surrounding area (including travel times from the Gite).
We had days out at Carnac, Josselin, Vannes which are all worth a visit.
We had trips to the local markets; again these are listed in their information booklets.
The car museum is one of the best we have visited, Manoir de L’Automobile.
We spent a day at the fishing lake which is a short drive from the Gite.
We walked into Josselin from the lake and it’s a pleasant walk alongside the canal with superb views of the Chateau.
We fed the chickens while staying at the Gites, which was a novelty even for adults.
We bought a cucumber and homemade honey from Simon and Lesley and both were delicious!
The Gite is in a rural location but with plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Simon and Lesley are very friendly, happy to chat or help with anything you may need.
Lovely Gite and we had a great holiday; a week wasn’t long enough for us to do/see everything we wanted to.
Best wishes Roisin and Friends, Co Down and Cornwall, September 2019
Bramble Gite - 1st to 7th September 2019
Hi Simon & Lesley,
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bramble Gite, which was a fantastic base to explore Brittany.
The swimming pool was a lovely way to relax and our little girl thoroughly enjoyed meeting the chickens and the rabbit!
We would also highly recommend the 'Aux 4 Saisons' restaurant in Moreac - it was excellent!
Thank you once again for your hospitality during our stay.
We hope to come back to stay again in the future

Cider House Gite - 31st August to 7th September 2019
Hi Simon and Lesley
Did not have much time to chat as we were too busy fishing
Fabulous place and fishing, we have been looking for this kind of place for several years
Really enjoyed our stay !
The Accommodation was spacious, comfortable and Simon and Lesley was very helpful and welcoming.
Our trip was mainly for fishing and relaxing and this ticked both boxes.
The fishing was fantastic, amazing little private lake owned by le grange has some fantastic varieties of fish, with some really nice size Carp and tench in ! Kept us busy all day.
The added extra of Radenac lake included is great as well, we fished this twice and some nice size carp out.

Our second visit to Le Grange Gites. Thoroughly fantastic time, as with our first visit back in 2012.
The addition of the new pool has been wonderful.
The children have had a fabulous fun filled holiday.
The Gites are well equipped and very clean. Excellent support with any queries from Lesley and Simon. Nothing is too much trouble they’re always willing to help you
The facilities and environment have clearly been planned offering families outstanding holiday accommodation.
Looking forward to our next visit

Ivy Gite - 10th to 24th August 2019
We have visited Le Grange Gites 4 times now because the accommodation is fab, clean and very well equipped.
We stayed with 2 adults and 15 and 17 year old who asked to come back.
We love that we can have fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden when needed and all so tasty.
We love that there is a separate garden area with a bbq and also shared benches. (The perfect place to have a coffee first thing surrounded the beautiful countryside.)
The location of the Gites is brilliant with so much to see and do.
Kingoland is a must for children and adults.
We loved Branfere an animal park where the animal roam free and you can feed them.
The pool is perfect and kept immaculate as are all the grounds.
We have so many happy memories coming here but what makes it is Lesley and Simon the amazing hosts who always go the extra mile.
They give helpful tips on everything and are so lovely to talk too. We were soooo sad to leave.

Willow Gite - 10th to 24th August 2019
This was our second visit and can't recommend it highly enough.
Simon and Lesley are fabulous hosts. They have lots of helpful advice so you can get the most out of your stay.
Our son would have stayed permanently in the pool if he could.
A great extra is that you can purchase produce that has been grown in their garden.
Whilst the gites are situated in a quiet area you are still very close to many attractions, local towns and villages full of things to do

Bramble Gite - 10th to 17th August 2019
A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week at Le Grange Gites.
The Bramble Gite provided all facilities for a comfortable stay.
This is our first visit to the Morbihan region. Amazing!
We particularly enjoyed visiting Josselin, Auray, Vannes and Carnac.
The “Les Sanglots Longs Museum” in Reguiny was fantastic! Francoise, the curator, was a wonderful host - so passionate and knowledgeable
The weekly market in Vannes is well worth a visit (Wednesday and Saturday Mornings) - great shops and restaurants too.
The Pool at the Gites was a major bonus for our 2 kids (17 and 12)
We will be back to explore more…
Thank you Simon and Lesley

Again a fantastic two weeks. Well-equipped Gite
Fresh produce and eggs always available, new potatoes are excellent!
Lots of places to visit and explore.
Perello beach was a lovely find and we would recommend it.
The War Musee is also worth a visit followed by a walk around the lake. (Reguiny)
Lesley and Simon are fantastic hosts - always there to help and advise nothing is too much for them.
We loved our stay here and they both made us feel very welcome and relaxed.
Thank you both so much, keep doing what you're so good at

As always you have been so welcoming and helpful and make it easy to spend time here.
The new pool is fab and we have made the most of it.
We will be back again, hopefully with a few others in tow.

Ivy Gite - 27th July to 3rd August 2019
Me and my husband stayed at le grange Gites France for a week from 26th July, from the moment we arrived the owners Simon and Lesley made us feel very welcome, throughout the week nothing was too much trouble for them from giving advice on travelling and fishing to various things you can purchase from them, home grown produce wine beer etc. all at a very reasonable price
The Gites are lovely and spacious with your own private space outside with barbecue there’s a fantastic pool area if you fancy a dip and children’s play area, they have a private lake with lovely surroundings, my husband caught some brilliant fish in tip top condition as the lake isn’t overfished, its peaceful and tranquil so much so we opted to go 3 days and Simon has everything to hire for fishing if needed,
Josselin town is a must to visit and there are plenty of little villages and restaurants to visit in the surrounding areas within short distances, all in all a relaxing stress free week away from our busy lifestyles back in the UK
A big thankyou Simon and Lesley for being the perfect hosts x

We’ve had a great time here, we loved the pool and we went into it every day.
We went to Kingoland, my favourite ride was the log flume, and it made a splash at the end.
We went to Josselin me and my sister poppy brought mood rings. They change colour to what mood you are.
We also went to Lac au Duc at Ploermel. We went to the beach and inflatables there.
I have had so much fun here

Our month has come to an end but we will be back next year. Once again Simon and Lesley have been stars, sorting out the doctors for Bill and taking him fishing.
Gite as always Tiptop and the pool much used with the great weather that Simon and Lesley provided!
Lovely feeding the chickens and having a chat with Daisy (bunny)
We had days out at Josselin & Locmine both good markets. Auray, Etel, St Cado, La Gacilly and Rochefort en terre all worth a visit with many places to eat in all of them.
Yolanda, Martyn and Bill, Cornwall, June - July 2019
Ivy Gite - 22nd to 29th June 2019
This is our first time to the Gites and Moreac. We have had a fantastic time enjoying the lovely weather and the surrounding area.
The fishing at the lake has been good and the other lake provided fish.
Simon and Lesley have been fantastic with us, they couldn't have done any more for us. Everyday with more information, booking restaurant tables etc., and even arranging the local bar to stay open for us.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked for 2020
Many many many thanks from

P.S. Pool is so good after a day out
Willow Gite - 7th June to 21st June 2019
This is our second visit to these Gites, staying in Ivy Gite last time. We love it here and the pool is a bonus. Simon and Lesley are great hosts and make it special
We visited Josselin on market day and ate there twice, once in the centre and once with Simon and Lesley at the Rive Gauche
We visited La Gacilly, one of our favourite places, try to avoid Sundays as very busy, we renewed our acquaintance with Lac au Duc and found Leclerc supermarket to be great having been extended.
We walked into Moreac and ate twice at Le Faison Dore, Excellent value but get there early as gets busy with workers.
Look out for the four little bunnies that live in the wood pile and hop about early morning.
Thank you Simon and Lesley for being such great hosts and lovely people.
We hope to be back and renewing our acquaintance
