9th to 23rd September 2017 - Ivy Gite This was our first time in this area of Morbihan, Brittany, France. We have covered a lot of Brittany over time either in Gites or with friends on the canal cruisers. We enjoyed our time and the well heated and clean swimming pool We visited a fair few of the lakes around and loved the walks around them. The walk from the fishing lake to Josselin was lovely and a meal at “Rive Gauche” near Josselin was great. We also enjoyed meals at Moreac in the café there Many thanks Simon and Lesley for your friendship and hospitality Carol and Mike, Ilminster, Somerset, September 2017 |

9th to 15th September 2017 – Cider House Gite We have had a lovely stay at the Cider House, which has come to an end too quickly. We have been made to feel very welcome, and our boys (3 & 1) have really enjoyed the garden and feeding the chickens / rabbit on a daily basis! The weather has been mixed, but we had a great day at Carnac on the beach, and enjoyed visiting the chateau / creperie at Suscinio. We also recommend the Dan Ewan creperie in Vannes. All in all a great stay and we hope to return, thanks! Liz, Tom, Rogan and Henry, Sheffield, September 2017 |

12th to 26th August 2017 – Cider House Gite We have had an excellent holiday here. The children loved the pool and the odd game of badminton. Lesley and Simon are terrific – always at hand with advice regarding places to visit and where to park etc. and always very helpful and friendly. There are some beautiful places to visit around here. The Carnac Megaliths were fabulous and the beaches there were excellent too. Would have liked much more time to explore Vannes and a few more of the towns If you go to Quiberon take the train as Simon and Lesley suggest, avoiding the car traffic as this is a popular tourist beach and town. Thank you very much, Christine, Peter, Daniel, Amy and Helen xx, Ipswich, Suffolk, August 2017 |

15th to 22nd July 2017 – Willow Gite Lesley and Simon, thank you for being such helpful and discrete hosts, it’s a wonderful combination Willow Gite had all we required for a very relaxing stay. Being from Ireland any dry day is a good day, with the exception of a French “spectacular” storm, which our daughter took as a form of entertainment, we were fortunate with the Sunny Breton weather. We enjoyed the Sculpture Park for an interesting afternoon and a very short drive Rochefort en Terre whilst a bit twee was most enjoyable and the NAIA museum (Musée des Arts de l'imaginaire fantastique et visionnaire) is both fascinating and quirky Thanks again Breda, Jack and Maireann, Bracken, Dublin, Ireland, July 2017 |
8th to 22nd July 2017 – Bramble Gite This was our first visit to the Gites and definitely won't be our last! Our hosts, Lesley and Simon were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, including finding the cost of a stamp to China! The Pool was fantastic and Elena grew in confidence every day. The whole place is very child friendly and we felt reassured knowing Elena would be safe. We visited lots of places: Carnac was great Damgan very pretty and the beaches really sandy and great for kids. Vannes excellent for shopping Auray and Josselin well worth a visit or two! We found Poete Ferrailleur on our last day (Nr Josselin and Lizio) and it's a fantastic place to go if you have kids – magical – just 35 minutes, drive at Lizio Hope to be back soon Sallie, Steve, Matt and Elena (4), Guestling Nr Hastings, East Sussex, July 2017 |

10th June to 1st July – Cider House Gite How can 3 weeks go so quickly!! As always Simon and Lesley have been great (try Simon’s Honey) the pool is fantastic, have used it most days to cool off as weather has been so hot. The Gite as always is lovely and the shower is to die for. The fishing at the lake has been good and for Bill and I the best was on our last day fishing when we (me) Landed a Mirror Carp about 7 or 8 lbs in weight (ok not big on Simons and Josh’s Standards) but we were thrilled (Easily Pleased!) Josselin is lovely to visit we also went to Carnac and went on the little train to see the Neolithic Stones, beaches and harbours, worth doing it if a lot of walking is too much for you and you can set off and on again on a later train, also we did the train at Quiberon as well. We went to the car museum at Loheac which is well worth a visit with a good creperie at the end of the road. One day we spent the morning driving around the local villages Naizin was a nice surprise and a lovely walk around the lake Must go to Reguiny to the war museum the lady there is so passionate about it she brings it to life, a very moving visit. We also discovered “Les Forges Des Salles” an old iron working village about an hour’s drive from the Gites, kept as it was when the forge closed in 1877 it is a journey back from the past; a guide book is given to you in English to explain what is what Rochefort-en-terre is also worth a visit, nice different shops a lovely medieval town and nice places to eat. We are going to book again for next year before we go home. Thanks again Simon and Lesley Martyn, Yolanda and Bill, Cornwall, June – July 2017 |

Ivy Gite 03-06-17 to 10-06-17 Le Grange Gites is perfect for a relaxing family stay. Lesley and Simon couldn't be more willing to help with everything we needed and we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The Gites are in a fab location for exploring Brittany with many wonderful day trips just a short drive away. Our favourites were the lovely town of Vannes on market day and the ferry across to Ile aux Monies which is absolutely charming. The Gites themselves provide a safe and enclosed garden area to let the little ones run free, and a lovely clean and warm pool. We will definitely be back next year!
