Le Grange Gites - BREXIT INFORMATION

BREXIT - HOLIDAYS DURING 2020

The UK has now left the EU, but for the whole of 2020 travel carries on exactly as before.

That's because the UK is now in a transition period, negotiated a couple of years ago to give both the UK and the EU some breathing space in which to negotiate the UK's relationship with the EU.

So you can travel to Europe just as you could last year and the year before, use the same passport (and passport queue), take no extra paperwork, without any changes at all.

BREXIT - HOLIDAYS FROM 1st JANUARY 2021

We have created this webpage to explain any changes that are applicable to holidaying with us from 1st January 2021

As soon as we have the information available to us we will add it to this page, it is currently being negotiated with the EU during the transition period which is due to be complete by 31st December 2020, we are sorry we cannot provide any more information at this time for 2021 holidays but it is not available to us

However it is expected that free holiday travel will remain, you may need travel insurance and a European driving license, obtainable for £5,50 from your local post office, and a Green card for your car insurance which should be offered free of charge by your insurance company
